Energieagentur Regio Freiburg GmbH (Engergy agency)

The Energieagentur Regio Freiburg counsels and accompanies us on our way to the zero-emission hotel. Together with the agency, we develop the energy-saving concepts and check those concepts for their feasibility. At trade fairs and exhibitions, our environmental commitment is regularly presented by the Energieagentur.

REST

REST Renewable Energy for Sustainable Tourism

We support the European project REST initiated by the Energieagentur Regio Freiburg as a showcase company. In this project, twelve energy agencies are establishing a network of environmentally friendly hotels which intend to increasingly use regenerative energy sources.

In 2005, the Best Western Premier Hotel Victoria was certified according to EMAS (eco-management and audit scheme) as the first hotel in Baden-Wuerttemberg and as the third hotel in Germany.

Freiburg Futour & Innocation Academy e.V.

Freiburg Futour/Innovation Academy

Our hotel is part of a tour of environmentally significant points of interest carried out by „Freiburg-Futour” and „Innovation Academy“. During those tours, projects in the field of solar energy in Freiburg are presented to the interested audience.  The visit to our solar system as well as the presentation of energy-saving options in the hotel room constitute a part of this tour.   

Green City Cluster Freiburg

GREEN CITY CLUSTER FREIBURG

We are a founding member in the Green City Cluster Freiburg. This is a regional network of companies for the environmental and solar economics. The members are chosen based on a continuous commitment for the protection of the environment.

We are part of the solar region Freiburg and were presented as the satellite project at the world exhibition EXPO 2000 in Hannover.
